NIQ are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant for the Regional Information Security Office (RISO) to lead cybersecurity initiatives within APAC, with a focus on India, and provide additional global support to other regions (EMEA, North America and LATAM). This role will actively contribute towards NIQ’s cyber security initiatives across the globe and provide expertise to our Governance, Risk and Compliance program and customer-facing services. The successful candidate will have experience in leading and supporting NIQ’s customer cybersecurity requirements and discuss how NIQ protects its’ customers information. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively in a global organization, covering multiple sectors with a wide range of requirements.
Responsibilities
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with laws such as GDPR, PIPL, CCPA, LGPD and other global data protection laws.
- Advanced knowledge of Information Security frameworks and standards, such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, and COBIT.
- A strong understanding of risk management methodologies and the ability to support technical risk assessments
Qualifications
- 5+ year’s experience working in an Information Security focused role with a focus on supporting customer audits and assessments, contract reviews, technical remediation items, and vendor due diligence.
- Experience with supporting client engagements, managing customer audits, supporting RFP/RFIs, and responding to customer security questionnaires.
- Experience providing and validating security requirements related to information system design, implementation, and business processes.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into business-relevant information and develop and maintain close relationships, presenting the need for security to all personnel from senior leaders to specialist roles in a manner that encourages positive engagement and demonstrates the benefits of security.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and business-relevant information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirables:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a focus on Computer Sciences.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g. CISM, CISA, CRISC, CISSP).
