Overview:
Waters, the world's leading specialty measurement company that cares about inclusion and diversity is seeking for a Compliance Analyst to support the ongoing development of the Corporate Compliance function, while fostering proactive communications promoting a culture of compliance and ethics. Assist in the administration of programs and processes that encourage and commit to these ethical standards and that assure overall compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

This role will be based at the Waters Global Capability Centre, located at RMZ Ecoworld in Bellandur, Bangalore.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in administering the Corporate Compliance program across the Waters enterprise including supporting the development, review and archiving of compliance documentation.
  • Participate in deployment and updating of requisite policies, processes and notices related to Compliance to all global employees.
  • Support core-Compliance systems utilized by the enterprise.
  • Administer due diligence and third-party monitoring activities.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal colleagues in developing and documenting procedures and processes necessary to illustrate compliance and facilitate continuing process and performance improvements.
  • Educate and support global employee base in understanding and using compliance tools and technologies.
  • Possess solid working knowledge of Waters global business, the current compliance environment, and the broader business impact.
  • Facilitate the coordination and review of documentation necessary to meet compliance and/or audit requirements as set forth by internal contractual obligations and external compliance/regulatory organizations.
  • Assist with special projects, as required.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required: preferably in accounting, finance, law, business management or related field.
  • Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed, multi-disciplinary organization with a global footprint.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to be proactive, take initiative, follow through, and complete projects in a professional and timely manner.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with demonstrated understanding of core business functions and associated processes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional/cross-geographical teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirements (including, but not limited to, Anti-kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, UK Bribery Act and other global regulations), with an understanding of how these requirements apply to the organization’s daily operations.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet and NAVEX Global platforms a plus.
