About the Role:

The doers and problem solvers, technical leaders with vision, developing cloud native applications, end-to-end configuration, operating proof-of-concept and overall behavioral characteristics of production applications with cloud database services that go far beyond traditional or current industry approaches. Need to specify and refine the requirements of automation, management, monitoring, protocols on Cloud Platform. Being a positive catalyst to build solutions that can be repeatedly deployed and scaled by applying unique, multidisciplinary practice to ensure the stability, scalability, performance and operational success, often by building software systems that manage these aspects. Articulate technical characteristics of services, technology areas and add best-in-class capabilities to the Oracle Cloud service portfolio. The role requires in depth knowledge of building and developing operational and reliability aspects of the systems, as well as strong understanding of Cloud computing, Low Code (APEX, VBCS) and OIC skill.

Act as ultimate issue point for sophisticated or critical customer issues as a customer first moves onto Oracle’s cloud. Utilize a deep understanding of service topology and their dependencies required to solve issues and define mitigations. Work Closely with Customer and/or Partners to bring workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud, adhering to the client’s technical and business requirements.
  • Automating the build and configuration of IaaS based solutions in Oracle Cloud Platform.
  • Optimize cost of Cloud Solutions by identifying waste and automating cloud cost management.
  • Deliver Proof of Concepts for new Solutions on Cloud using APEX, VBCS, OIC.
  • Good written/Verbal Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography.
  • Flexible to work either independently or work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most efficient cloud-based solutions for the company
  • Adaptability to Learn and use groundbreaking technologies
  • Collaborate with Customers and internal partners to collect, understand and tackle problems
Preferred Qualifications/Primary Skills:
  • Design develop test and implement features and code using Oracle Application Express APEX
  • Required 5 years of experience working with Oracle Apex and Oracle Database products
  • Perform requirements analysis development design test and deployment of custom Oracle applications
  • Writing SQL queries Views Materialized views PL SQL procedures functions packages triggers cursors collections Ref cursor cursor variables System reference cursor Dynamic SQL
  • Debug code and maintain PL SQL procedures and functions
  • Front end web development technologies including HMTL5 CSS3 jQuery and JavaScript Web Services Development using ORDS and Oracle APEX
  • experience integrating Oracle E-Business Suite with Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, Mediator, E-Biz Adapter, XML, WSDL/XSD
  • experience with SOAP/REST Webservices, XML, WSDL and XSD.
  • Experience in performance tuning, testing and diagnosis of OIC integrations.
Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor level or higher degree in Computer Science, CIS, Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering or other relevant subject area.
  • Cloud Architect Associate certification on any Public Cloud Platform (OCI/AWS/Azure/GCP) is desirable.
Work Timings:

Oracle offers flexible ‘work-from-home’ options for our adjusted work shifts of 2PM-11PM IST to accommodate our North American customers and promote work/life balance for all of our diverse employees. Since this is a customer-facing role, we need to make sure that there is adequate time overlap with US time zones to be able to effectively communicate & collaborate with our customers and US Oracle teams. We try to keep the morning IST hours free for our employees so that they can take care of personal family matters and Oracle also offers free home pickup/drop-off car services- via company provided taxi cabs- for our employees as well.
