What you’ll do:


  • Broad knowledge and experience in cloud and virtualization technologies (vmware, KVM, OpenStack, kubernetes, openshift, rancher) 
  • Vmware, vsphere env, tanzu deployment networking, storage, esxi etc install, config, manage, monitor, tune, vrealize, cloud physics etc.
  • expert knowledge on Openstack installation and configuration using RHOSP/triple-o model is a must including dpdk, iosrv etc..
  • Kubernetes, rancher, tanzu and openshift installation and configuration using manual and automation method like IPI, UPI, RHACM,edge, inhouse automation, IaC etc.
  • Hands on deployment automation and its troubleshooting using python, ansible etc…and troubleshooting code to fix install issues and possible contribute fixes.
  • L2/L3 networking knowledge with external switch along with knowledge of vSwitches/vLans and its working, routing, NAT, firewall (iptables/firewalld) etc.
  • Preferably having knowledge of SAN(brocade, 3par, nimble, nimble, aletra,fabric, lun masking etc),SDN, SDS (ceph, gluster, vSAN, OCS/ODF etc)
  • Neutron, nova, cinder, glance and other important Openstack component knowledge and troubleshooting including basic mysql/DB manipulation an added advantage.
  • Kubernetes, OCP, operators, service mesh, EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, alertmanager, istio, OCP RBAC,CRD, SCC, PVC, monitoring and remediation would be prefered with IaC ops and git PR based change management.
  • Sizing and capacity management at host, vm, container and pod level.
  • Hardware and OS configuration including DL/BL, iLO, raid, storage knowledge and experience along with considerable depth in Linux/RHEL OS configuration would be a plus.
  • Familiar with HPE Infrastructure portfolio (HW and SW)
  • Can work with limited guidance while sharing & cooperating with the greater team when needed
  • Contribute to knowledgebase articles based on troubleshooting experience on job.
  • Experience in working across multiple sites, organizations and cultures
  • Proven track of record  in technology management in the fields of IT and Telecom, specifically data center management
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills

What you need to bring:


Bachelor/Master Degree,


10 years in IT/Telecoms industry. R&D experience preferred.
