Position-Client Relationship Manager
Job Summary:
The job involves engaging in entirely B2B activities, meeting with Decision Makers such as CFOs, Treasury Heads, Accounts & Taxation
Heads and HR representatives to pitch products and explain the value proposition to large and medium-d enterprises.
The primary focus is to generate leads from corporate clients in Kolkata and develop business by soliciting Gratuity, Superannuation, and
Leave Encashment benefit funds.
The candidate will provide fund management solutions concerning their funded post-employment benefit liabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Researching industry information, annual reports, and balance sheets to identify potential opportunities.
• Seeking appointments with potential clients through databases, the internet, and references.
• Thoroughly mapping potential clients and prioritizing them to chart the sales strategy and approach.
• Building strong interpersonal relationships with key client decision makers, especially middle and senior management.
• Preparing tailored sales pitches and presenting them to CXO level audiences in corporate settings.
• Effectively negotiating with prospective clients.
• Managing complex sales situations to acquire new clients and upsell/cross-sell to existing ones.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients.
• Supporting organizations in creating and sustaining a governance mechanism related to their retirement benefits funds.
• Achieving annual targets, both quantitative and qualitative, assigned to the role.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Minimum Graduate (Non-Arts Background) with a minimum of 60% marks throughout the academics.
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B Sales.
Industry Experience: Any industry is acceptable, but preference will be given to candidates with experience in Consulting, Banking, and
Financial Services, with exposure to corporate Finance and Treasury stakeholder management.
Prior business development experience is required.
Skill Sets:
• Highly self-motivated candidate with a strong acumen for B2B business development and a willingness to continuously enhance
knowledge and learning.
• Sound understanding of the global and domestic economy, financial markets (debt and equity), tax laws governing employee retirement
benefits, and regulations related to trust management and compliance. Additionally, knowledge of accounting standards pertaining to
employee benefits such as Ind AS 19 and AS 15 R is essential.
• Excellent proficiency in English, Hindi, and Bengali languages.
Note: It is important to have a strong background in B2B sales, a good understanding of financial and regulatory aspects related to
employee benefits, and fluency in the relevant languages to effectively engage with corporate clients and make successful sales pitches.
Salary – 8 – 10 LPA
