Skills: Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and cost control. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent may be required. Additional certifications related to tunneling and NATM are beneficial.
Communication: Effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Safety: Thorough knowledge of tunneling safety regulations and best practices, with a focus on ensuring the safety of personnel and the environment.
Leadership: Ability to lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
