Job description

TyrAds is looking for a COO that will work closely together with the CEO and the rest of the management team in order to execute on the vision of the CEO and scale the company efficiently and effectively. You will be a key role within the company having the responsibility of setting the culture, work ethic and ensuring the company can scale without any operational bottlenecks. If you are an experienced veteran (in growing companies) and have worked in the world of advertising this role is perfect for you.

TyrAds is a fast growing company specialized in the mobile advertising space with a key focus on the development of their own technology and O&O (owned and operated) inventory, our aim is to fully automate the UA experience for marketeers and automate their success. Our two main areas of growth are:GamingGaming is a key growth factor and is powered by our Rewards Technology and allows users to earn money while playing their favorite games, while at the same time allows the developer to earn money from the ads these gamers watch resulting in a Win/Win growth model. The Key growth factor here is our own app Tyr Rewards which allows us to effectively test and market our technology.Non- GamingOur second growth sector is the non-gaming side with recent development of our own inventory, which is recommendation software allowing users to get recommendations for the best products that fit their needs. Which tailors to key markets in Fintech, Insurance, Shopping and many other areas.
Responsibilities
Team building/development:
  • Develop a team environment that maximize co-operations and overall employee happiness
  • Actively train and develop the company on multiple areas of the business to create an environment that maximize the efficiency of every employee
  • Establishing policies that improve and promote company vision and culture
  • Set clear career progressions for employees and enforce this with every team to maximize employee retention and happiness.
  • Mentor other management members in anything related to managing their team efficiently and effectively.
  • Actively participate in the hiring process of the company to ensure new hires fit within the company culture.

Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure all departments are able to operate efficiently and can make decision independently based on company wide SOP’s
  • Maintains and directs the daily operations of the business, including coordinating with human resources, legal, sales, marketing, accounting, IT and other departments
  • Help support the teams in automating their tasks and maximizing the results of their departments
  • Work together with the CEO/Product team to develop features/ solutions that remove repetitive tasks and increase organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure all operations related to financial aspects of the company are tightly controlled and managed to ensure timely payments of clients and timely payments of publishers.
  • Ensure all departments have KPI’s and management reports to use for their own departments to ensure their departments are hitting the KPIs needed.
  • Develop all technical integration with MMP’s (mobile measurement partners) to ensure easy integration and activation of new clients
  • Create an effective support team that works together with sales and client success to fix issues for users of our Tyr Rewards product line efficiently and with a high degree of automation.
  • Create a support team for our Rewards Technology and oversee the operations of this Support team.

Management Responsibilities:
  • Work together with the CEO to execute on the vision/mission of the company
  • Help the CEO research and understand new areas of potential business/growth
  • Ensure the CEO has clear management reports and clear insight of the business and its financial position.
  • Help the CEO with anything related to obtaining financing or investment requirements
  • Help the CEO in building the executive team of the company

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business administration or related area.
  • At Least 10 Years of experience in an operational role of similar capacity
  • In-depth understanding of the Advertising industry and the workings of different departments of a company, including finance, sales and human resources
  • Knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and data analysis
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting results
  • Have a track record of growing companies from startup to scale-up to full grown companies.
  • Have experience with a tech team and understand how to request features and manage the delivery of these features
  • Having experience and understanding of Support systems like Intercom is preferred.
  • Highly proficient in hiring and building an effective team company wide
  • Extremely well prepared and organized in anything you do
  • Extremely good in prioritization of work and very effective in communicating this towards the rest of the organization
  • Excellent in all forms of communications, oral and written
  • Excellent in conflict resolution
