Job title: Chief ofStaff & Executional Excellence Lead - Global DXR R&D
Your Role:
- Lead the Executional Excellence Productivity initiatives for DXR R&D.
- Spearheads lean implementation and drives the process of the continuous improvement by implementing Daily Management, KAIZEN, SIX SIGMA, PRIDE for DXR R&D initiatives.
- Operational global support for R&D leader DXR. Orchestration of transformations, communication and operations of R&D.
- Is responsible to organize the resources to be used (quality, time, allocation, budget and information), helps the team to organize and specifies the quality standard in the processes.
- Identifies the risks of the project (e.g. specs, costs, planning) and develops scenarios to overcome these risks by defining corrective actions and driving the R&D internal projects to closure.
- Gathers and integrates project performance and progress information.
- Define, refine and maintain R&D KPI Dashboard and action plans.
- Reports on the progress to DXR R&D MT with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, headcount and budget.
- Ensures that there is an effective transfer and archiving of the project results and the associated knowledge.
- Builds and maintains the project management organization, helps the team to organize, chooses or coaches on the way of working and selects the adequate tools (tailors the approach to the specific project) and defines the interfaces with other functions, internal and external Philips.
- Deploys process improvements, supports continuous improvement of teams for robust governance and makes the project management organization efficient and transparent, in line with departmental and project processes and compliance to corporate policies/rules/procedures.
- Manages internal and external stakeholders.
You're the right fit if:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or similar discipline.
- Minimum 12+ years of lean/project/program management experience.
- Project Management experience in FDA regulated Medical Device product environments, experience in Super Conducting Magnets/MR Imaging systems is preferred.
- Hands on experience in implementing Lean practices – Daily Management, PRIDE, KAIZEN, Six Sigma.
- Well versed in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMP) Project management processes: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling and Closing.
- Six Sigma black belt, PMP Certification or other Project management training/Certifications desired.
- Strong technical and functional leadership, negotiation, relationship management, analytical and team management skills, with experience of working in highly matrix organization structure.
- Ability to work with people across hierarchical levels in the project execution as per stakeholder expectations.
