We are hiring a Channel Development Head for South India for a fast-growing organisation with a state-of-the-art factory in Bommasandra, having a large direct B2B2C and B2B sales team with a rapidly growing brand retail footprint in the building construction industry. The promoter has been one of the most successful entrepreneurs in India in the current millennium.
We are looking for a person with a proven track record of setting up retail networks in South India.
Job DescriptionResponsible for nurturing existing channel partners.Retail expansion, modification, new store planning and execution.Identifying location opportunities, business development and onboarding new retail partners to showcase product range to deliver the brand experience.Responsible for brand building, and motivating channel partners to consistently deliver Operational Excellence.Project implementation for Design and Build customers.Implement Marketing and sales promotion activities and visual merchandising.Customer experience management.Monitoring conditions and trends within the local markets.Training and development of retail teams. Manage within a budget and motivate employees to support the overall organizational culture.Provide/ organize sales support, monitor status, and ensure achievement on a sustained basis.Develop new streams of business through Outreach and Institutional customers.Ensure prompt follow-up with customers for commercial terms, problem resolution, etc.Work with partners, vendors, company’s engineers to ensure customer’s needs are met.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Engineer / Architect / Interior Design with Master’s in Business Management.Minimum of 10 years of experience in setting up successful retail partners in Sanitary ware or CP fittings or similar industry.A team player with the ability to build relationships.Strong analytic & communication skills & Organizational SkillsProblem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.Detail and deadline oriented.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them on a timely basis.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Creative, innovative and pro-activeProven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.Understanding/ability to work in a growing organizationExperience in handling B2B2C and retail will be preferred
