Overview
This position will report into the Head of DGRSE Programme Management and focussed on managing the introduction of change across the organistion in relation to Master Data Management related initiatives at LSEG. If you are passionate about this space, we wish to talk to you!
Role Description
  • The Data Governance, Resilience & Service Escalation (DGRSE) Programme Management team is focused on driving change on behalf of the DGRSE organisation across the broader LSEG organization by implementing common tools, policies, and standards as well as putting in place metrics and reporting to track the progress and impact of the work being done. This involves the introduction of a large amount of change across LSEG. The Change Manager provides first level support for internal Business groups (such as Operations, Sales & Account Management, Legal, Commercial, etc.) to drive adoption of new tools and processes.
Role Profile
  • This position will report into the Head of DGRSE Programme Management and will be responsible for managing change on programmes of work related to Master Data Management, specifically Customer Master Data. This is a key programme of work at the London Stock Exchange Group a key objective of which is to enable the group to have central sources of well governed, quality master data.
  • The Change Manager will have a history of leading change on large scale data programmes of work and have knowledge of key aspects in areas such as Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Management and Data Quality, ideally within Financial Services organisations.
  • The Change Manager will be accountable for the development and execution of plans that will address change at programme, project, and individual levels. In doing this the Change Manager will need to work to capture current state processes, future state processes and enable teams and individuals to transition between the two. It will also include definition and execution of test strategies to bring users into the process of testing and introduction of change where new systems and tools are being introduced. A bridge between the programme and the business groups, ensuring business impacts are fully understood and business readiness achieved, through communications, engagement, and training. The role provides voice of colleague to ensure all change is fully understood and embedded into current working practices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, coaching and delivery of the change activity related to the Master Data Management transformation programmes and projects.
  • Provide change management guidance and support to the Sponsor and Stakeholders in the development and execution of the change management strategy and plans.
  • Apply change management methods and tools to create a strategy and plans to support adoption of the required changes which lead to the realisation of identified benefits.
  • Lead and execute all aspects of change management for each initiative including impact analysis, planning, coaching, communication, resistance management and support.
  • Create actionable change management deliverables i.e., engagement plan, readiness plan, resistance management plan, success criteria etc.
  • Support and develop local change and communication networks at all levels to facilitate successful change across LSEG.
  • Lead change management assessments, planning, and change workshops for stakeholders impacted by the change.
  • Support the communication and training needs associated with the change initiative
  • Identify and analyse risks and issues, identifying mitigation actions relevant to change management plans.
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Define and measure stakeholder change management success metrics.
  • Support the reinforcement of change through analysing feedback, measuring, and celebrating success, identifying gaps in adoption, identifying resistance, taking corrective action
  • Champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Activities & Skills
Impact Analysis: Detailed impact assessments of releases to understand & determine what the as-is vs to-be change to the business, incl.:
  • Stakeholder impacts, business / end user impacts e.g. process and technology changes
  • Training needs analysis, including specifics per target groups
  • Communication requirements to bring the change to life, including specifics per target groups
Go-live Planning and Readiness
  • Determine, manage and execute appropriate business change approach / plan
  • Training plan – requirements, scheduling & co-ordination of training approach, strategies and content – liaising with Learning and Development and SMEs as appropriate
Communication plan – including consideration of content, audience, medium
Ensure Business readiness for implementation / release / migration, end users are fully briefed / trained to accept and implement new ways of working
Go-live support
  • Facilitate practical support pre, during and post go-live, dealing with end user queries, manage work arounds and escalate any concerns an issues
  • Support colleagues to transition to new/different ways of working and ensure changes are fully embedded into BAU
