Overall Responsibilities: As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the successful migration of portfolios to a new platform. Your responsibilities include performing parameter setup data mapping, conducting functional gap analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze portfolio migration requirements. You will ensure that requirements are documented, tracked throughout the software development lifecycle, and that the delivered solutions meet the specified coverage and scope. Additionally, you will provide work estimates, monitor project deadlines, and contribute to the development of test plans and scripts.
Category-wise Technical Skills:
Software Requirements:
- Experience in performing parameter setup data mapping.
- Proficient in conducting functional gap analysis.
- Familiarity with portfolio migration requirements analysis.
- Ability to document migration requirements in a clear and concise standard format.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience in portfolio migration projects.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Perform parameter setup data mapping for the new platform.
- Conduct functional gap analysis and document migration requirements.
- Assist in analyzing portfolio migration requirements, breaking down to the required level of details.
- Track portfolio migration requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide work estimates when applicable.
- Monitor and understand changes to requirements or scope and assess their impact on solutions and project timelines.
- Assist the Project Manager in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
- Guide in the development of test plans and test scripts.
- Support consultative sessions with customers in collaboration with Fiserv.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality documentation.
- Proactive and able to escalate issues in a timely manner.
