Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. Over the last decade, INOPC has evolved to become the largest engineering hub serving more than 40 countries across different energy sectors. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission statement:

Hitachi Energy, High Voltage Products is implementing Digital solutions to improve efficiency and quality. These are cloud-based solutions that will be used by all manufacturing units within the business unit. Software testers will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our application.

Your responsibility:

• This is a techno-functional role and will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

  
  

• Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.

  
  

• Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams.

  
  

• Validate design that have been created are in line with the business requirements and that they fulfill the future state of the organization.

  
  

• Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.

  
  

• Recommend process improvements and assist in their implementation.

  
  

• Run workshops and training sessions

  
  

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

  
  

• Develops testing procedures by defining quality metrics and test strategies. Responsible for creating test plans that align with the business requirements.

  
  

• Oversees the execution of test cases, Monitoring & Quality Management of the test process, ensuring high quality results from the testing & test evaluation.

  
  

• Participating in preparation of quality assessments, metrics formulating and share reports, progress and defect status.

Your background:

• Bachelor of Engineering / Master of business administration or equivalent, with overall experience of 6 – 8 years.

  
  

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role in Manufacturing domain.

  
  

• Demonstrated experience with requirements gathering solution deployment, & end user engagement.

  
  

• Experience in ERP software, such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.

  
  

• Experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  
  

• Experience in leading testing team and knowledge of various testing procedures, types & automation tools.

  
  

• Should possess strong leadership skills and ability to communicate with business and IT stakeholders in a complex, highly international environment.
