Position Overview:
As the Director of Finance at Brij Hotels, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of our growing organisation. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic financial management, tax filing, and leadership in cost control through the management of the purchase arm. Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with Brij Hotels' business goals and industry best practices.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with organisational objectives.
3. Financial Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial plans, providing strategic insights for sustainable growth.
4. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, presenting findings to the executive team and stakeholders.
5. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to ensure the financial stability of the organisation.
6. Tax Filing: Ensure timely and accurate tax filing, staying updated on tax regulations, and optimising tax positions.
7. Audit and Compliance: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
8. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
9. Cost Control: Lead the purchase arm to implement effective cost control measures while maintaining quality standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and tax filing.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
- Previous experience of working with a Hospitality or Restaurant industry is a plus.
