Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a Bio-Statistician located on-site in Gandhinagar. As a Bio-Statistician, you will be responsible for designing studies and analyzing clinical trial data to generate insights and outcomes for scientifically evidence-based products. You will be a key member of the team collaborating with cross-functional groups such as data management, clinical operations, medical writing, quality, regulatory, and project management.
Qualifications- A Master's degree or higher in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software, such as SAS, R, or SPSS, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Demonstrated experience in designing clinical trials, including sample size estimation, exposure-response modelling or biomarker analysis, and endpoint identification or validation
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, multivariate and logistic regression analysis, and survival analysis
- Experience with Real World Evidence studies and knowledge of observational study designs, such as case-control, cohort and cross-sectional studies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
- Experience managing or mentoring junior-level statisticians is a plus
- Experience working in the CRO industry is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
