About Our Client

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and target potential clients for commercial and industrial RE projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, developers, investors, and industry partners.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and project closing.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and project management, to develop customized solutions that meet the unique needs of clients and achieve highest possible displacement from existing fossil fuel based energy with RE energy at most optimum cost
  • Possess strong techno-commercial acumen and develop tailor made solutions to client to them achieve their green commitments at most competitive cost.
  • Close PPAs with customers by ensuring risks for the Company are mitigated in fair manner. Work closely with legal and contract teams during finalisation of PPAs/ term sheets etc.
  • Tie-up with other RE players who can Company partner to deliver firm and dispatchable energy solution to customers.
  • Understanding of energy trading market to bridge the gap between energy generated and committed to customer.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and business cases to prospective clients.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, incentives, and financing options to provide expert guidance and advice to clients.
  • Track and report on sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Represent the fund at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in, Engineering from reputed college.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development or sales within the RE industry, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, project development processes, and financing mechanisms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
