AddressJob Purpose:
To contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications by leveraging expertise in Backend PHP Symfony development. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Backend PHP Symfony Developer to join our vibrant team. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers to implement new features, enhance existing functionalities, and ensure optimal performance and scalability. Your role involves designing, coding, testing, and deploying web applications within a LAMP stack environment, utilizing technologies such as MySQL, PHP >=8.1, JavaScript, HTML, Docker, and more. An aptitude for DevOps practices and proficiency in a cloud provider are considered advantageous.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Frontend Developers to ensure seamless integration of backend and frontend components.
- Design and implement new features tailored to the needs of our clients.
- Identify and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
- Establish and maintain testing processes, including non-regression and unit testing, to ensure code quality.
- Work closely with the project manager and business teams, considering business objectives in the development process.
- Conduct regular technical research to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
- Keep documentation current to facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Backend PHP Symfony Developer.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficient in PHP >=8.1, Symfony framework, JavaScript, HTML, and Docker.
- Experience with LAMP stack, MySQL, and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud providers.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) Software Development Process and methodologies.
Expected Competencies:

- Analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues.

Work Timings:
Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST to provide healthy overlap between India team and France office and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 1 day work from office at Hyderabad.
