Responsibilities :
- Developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Python and Django.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs to support various front-end functionalities.
- Integrating and working with Elasticsearch to enhance search functionality within the applications.
- Implementing and managing user authentication and authorization systems to ensure secure access to the platform.
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Ensuring the responsiveness of applications and optimizing for maximum speed and scalability.
- Working closely with database administrators to design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Debugging and resolving issues related to backend functionality and performance.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve development processes.
Requirements :
- 1-2 years of experience in Python Django backend development.
- Strong understanding and experience with RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in working with Elasticsearch to implement efficient search functionality.
- Experience implementing and managing user authentication and authorization systems.
- Solid understanding of database design and experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies and the ability to collaborate with front-end developers.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to Have :
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of web security best practices.
- Experience with other web frameworks and technologies.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
