Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.
Introduction

What we’re looking for:
 Program Manager with proven track record of managing medium / large size business and technical projects end to end with multi-team collaboration, experience ideally within the financial services sector with understanding of regulatory demands
 Hands-on experience to manage forecasts/ actuals related to big programs
 Financial services industry experience especially on credit cards or payment processing with exposure on Digital, API and cloud-based project deliverables
 Must be able to demonstrate stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills to lead the project capability
 Knowledgeable and experienced in negotiating with both internal and external suppliers to positively affect outcome, in order to successfully insource expertise from a 3rd party



What will you be doing?
  • Responsible for the overall management control and end to end delivery of business and IT change projects, marketing campaigns & new product launches; with a value of £50,000 - £5 million. Is accountable for creating project deliverables that meet or exceed the expectations of the project stakeholders.
  • Key responsibilities on any project/campaign will be to ensure that ideas/proposals adopt appropriate channel, operational and systems solutions and that the preparations for these solutions are then undertaken and delivered on time and to the specification.
  • Exercise overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the Project to plan, budget and agreed quality and governance standards.
  • Own and drive the Project planning framework, ensuring that plans are developed and tracked to appropriate standards are integrated effectively across all work streams, are unambiguous and achievable, and dependencies are clearly understood and managed.
What we’re looking for:
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery processes frameworks, Scaled Agile, Release Train Engineers and tools at programme scale
  • Ability to facilitate communication and dependencies across project delivery team and external to the project
  • Facilitate cross-team and leadership team retrospectives to identify problems and continuous improvement solutions
  • Formal external qualification/accreditation to Project Management

  • Agile SaFe Certification
  • Release Train Engineer Certification
  • Knowledge on JIRA
