We are currently looking to hire an Analyst to support us with a number of in flight and upcoming initiatives from Group Legal Function.

The Opportunity:


The role holder is responsible for –


Migrations Responsibilities


Financials


  • Owns and manages the financial data for every Legal migration commitment
  • Calculates anticipated $ benefits per migration and ensures they are valid and bankable (where applicable)
  • Produces Golden Source metrics and analysis, as required, to support strategic decision-making.
  • Advises project teams on known lead times and challenges to ensure that workable Project Plans are in place; and that they are agreed between LOBs and region
  • Tracks project progress through key milestones at regular internals.  Identifies, manages, mitigates and reports any risks or issues through the Programme
  • Identify and communicates methodology/documentation/process changes to Project teams
  • Provide migration management support to agreed book of work, acting as the key interface into the programme for all relevant product/ function / regional leads
  • Review plans in consultation with asset classes to identify and implement acceleration of delivery and enhance consistency where appropriate
  • Track and monitor progress of the migrations and remigrations delivery in line with the project plan, hold regular project tracking meetings with Lead Lawyers/SME/PM from sending jurisdiction
  • Work with receive and send - side counterparts within Legal to ensure quality of delivery
  • Work closely with peer PM (send-side) to drive through transparency across various migrations to ensure cross -asset synergies and opportunities for delivery are exploited
  • Provide updates to the programme governance as required and work closely with Migrations Programme PMO and Cost Management to provide relevant inputs where required

Site responsibilities


Receive side SPOC:


  • Receive, consolidate, track and co-ordinate all migrations, growth, remigrations as the receive side SPOC for S&C all Ops hub sites
  • Attend migration commitment meetings and provide update on all migrations
  • Conduct WG meeting to seek/provide updates pertaining to all migrations to concerned stakeholders
  • Ensure all logistical arrangements pertaining to Third Party onboarding is completed/coordinated
  • Business Management / Headcount Management
  • BCIM related tasks.
  • Project Management

Billing and Legal MI


What you’ll do:


  • The role requires a candidate who can undertake detailed analysis, sometimes within short time frames and remain delivery focused.
  • Furthermore, the successful candidate needs to take ownership of all aspects of their work to delivery and review.
  • Strong working relationships with the key areas, providing guidance on the delivery of Migrations.
  • Providing guidance on the bankability of any migration commitments.

Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements)


  • Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
  • The candidate needs to understand Change within a complex operating environment
  • The need for stakeholder engagement & management.
  • Operational risk requirements around Migrations.

Observation of Internal Controls (Compliance Policy / FIM requirements)


  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.
  • Adheres to internal Governance policies and sign off procedures in line with best practice and audit requirements
