Position Summary:
The role involves B2B Consultative Direct Sales, Business Development and Key Account Management for the Employee Benefits & Retirement Solutions Function. The roles offers an opportunity to work in the group insurance and Employee Benefits space in Life Insurance of the fastest growing life insurance company in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business delivery primarily through direct and B2B direct sales
- B2B Direct Sales: Build a portfolio of group retirement funds clientele from pre-designated prospect list and geography
- Business Development: Build a pipeline of new partnership opportunities covering all lines of group products and alternate distribution arrangements.
- Provide market intelligence and updates on competition activities
- Provide MIS and Reports for periodic reviews
Experience
- Preferably MBA with 12-18 years of overall experience, at least 5 years in B2B Sales in Financial Services / 4+ years of B2B Sales experience and currently in a B2B Sales role in Employee Benefits
- Industry Segments Preferred: Corporate Salary & TASC in Banking, Group Funds in Life Insurance, Institutional Business in Mutual Funds, Debt & Capital market Sales Professionals, Business Banking, Employee Benefit Sales in BFSI
1. Managed B2B direct sales of Employee Benefits Solutions in Insurance : Group Term Life, EDLI, Group Gratuity, Group Medical , Group Personal Accident plans Or
2. Managed B2B sales in Liability Sales in Banks - Corporate Salary, Trust and Societies Or
3. Managed B2B Sales in Mutual Funds or Debt Market Instruments
- Excellent communication, negotiation skills & interpersonal skills
- Team Handling skills.
- Candidates from Bancassurance, Credit Life, Third Party Sales tagged under corporate sales should be excluded
