Job description

  • We are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record to join our Educational Institutions Sales Team

  • The candidates must have experience in selling SaaS products to Universities and Educational Institutions

  • This is a Field Sales role. You will be directly responsible for visiting the Educational Institutions and pitching the Tracxn platform to the University Admins

  • Please note the role involves traveling to different locations and you will reach out to prospects, and do follow-ups by personal visits, over calls, emails, and video conferences.

  • Develop a 360° understanding of Tracxn’s product, customer categories, and competitors

    • Develop a thorough understanding of Tracxn’s products and offerings

    • Understand the different use cases of Educational Institutions we cater to. Understand how these institutions are driving innovation and investment decisions. 

    • Understand how Tracxn creates value for these Educational Institutions. Understand how they use Tracxn’s platform and keep identifying newer use cases

  • Prepare presentations to deliver to University Admins

    • Prepare presentations showcasing Tracxn’s platform features, pricing, and other details

    • Understand the prospect's use case and explain the value propositions

    • Answer the prospect’s queries on the product, and pass on any feedback shared to the management.

  • Track conversion funnel and provide strategic input

    • Closely monitor your conversion funnel - sales pipeline, leads reached out to, presentations given, follow-ups, and closures

    • Regular updates for the Leadership Team and the Board on key sales metrics including new customers, renewals, churns, growth rate, etc. Identify the bottlenecks and update management

    • Analyse issues raised by customers. Provide feedback to Product, Business, and Customer Success teams to improve the customer life cycle and experience

  • Manage Engagements & Build Relationships  

    • Manage multiple university engagements 

    • Solve closure-related customer queries. Ex: Missing use case, Pricing issues, etc. 

    • Build long-term relationships with the colleges/university heads for future business generation.

    • Look out for opportunities to showcase the Tracxn products in college/university level events.

What are we looking for: 

  • Experience required in B2B SaaS Sales

  • At least 5 years in Educational Institutional Sales & 3 years in field sales

  • Excellent presentation skills to deliver presentations to university admins

  • Good at managing multiple university engagements

  • Willingness and ability to travel to different locations of university campuses

  • Understanding of the Educational Landscape and positioning products as per market changes

  • Flexible, organized, and able to handle competing priorities
