Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AutoCAD Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join in HO in our Client Company. As an AutoCAD Design Engineer (Mechanical), you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD Mechanical, interpreting designs, identifying flaws, and optimizing designs. This is a full-time position based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Senior: 7 to 10 years of experience in AutoCAD Design Engineering (mechanical)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical for 2D and 3D design
- Working knowledge of RDOS or RITES preferred
- Strong sketching and analyzing skills to translate ideas into designs
- Ability to create and interpret blueprints for every design iteration
- Strong knowledge of physics and mathematics to ensure design accuracy
- Experience in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD Mechanical based on client requirements
- Interpret and analyze designs to identify flaws and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize designs and improve functionality
- Produce detailed blueprints for each design iteration
- Ensure designs meet all technical specifications and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Work with project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AutoCAD and mechanical design
