Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Drafting and vetting of various agreements such as Supply & Services, Communication and messaging and IT enabled mobile telephony services, Telecom Value Added Services & other Commercial Contracts; Contractual risk evaluation and recommend mitigation measures. Interacting with other functions departments for all matters that may give rise to legal function’s role.
- Initiate / defend and pursue litigation proceedings including briefing external Legal Counsels, preparing Case for Opinions, settling Plaints, Statements, writ petitions etc.
- Assisting in obtaining various business licenses and registrations, Intellectual Property Rights matters; Assist in Corporate Secretarial Compliance, board meeting etc.
- Carry out exhaustive research on Case Laws and latest amendments to relevant laws; From time to time, hold interactive sessions with other departments.
Having a valid sanad/certificate of practise as an Advocate is a must as he will be expected to represent the company before the various judicial authorities like Courts, NCLT etc. (No separate fees will be payable for such services)
