Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Professor Ophthalmologist to join our team in Wayanad. As a key member of our academic faculty, you will contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows while providing exemplary patient care in ophthalmology. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in ophthalmology.
• Develop and deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops on various ophthalmic topics.
• Participate in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences.
• Provide comprehensive ophthalmic care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Engage in community outreach programs and educational activities to promote eye health and disease prevention.

Key Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical ophthalmology, including diagnosis and management of ocular conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively teach and mentor learners of varying levels.
• Commitment to academic excellence, evidenced by scholarly achievements and a passion for teaching.
