About The/Nudge:
The/Nudge is an action institute working towards a poverty-free India within our lifetime. We partner with governments, markets, and civil society through our impact streams – Centre for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (CSDE), Centre for Rural Development (CRD), and Centre for Social Innovation (CSI).
The End Ultra Poverty (EUP) program under CRD enables families to come out of extreme poverty through a Graduation Approach model, which has demonstrated that ultra-poverty can be conquered. EUP implements programs, enables partners, provides research/design support to governments, and builds tech solutions for quality at-scale implementation.
Position Overview:
The expansion of the Graduation Approach program into new territories comes with complex on-ground execution needs. We are seeking an exceptionally organized project coordinator to be the virtual right hand for our Head of Operations, supporting smooth functioning as we scale impact into unseen heights and geographies across India.
This role requires sharp project skills - structured yet flexible, detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture, and resourceful yet humble. From streamlining hiring logistics across districts, monitoring government compliance processes, coordinating workshop travel and expenses for field teams, and running the program with multiple central functions related to HR Finance, Admin, Fund Raising, Strategy and operations, this role will work behind the scenes to enable on-ground magic.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft periodic guidelines to ensure ease of doing operations through cross-domain/ hub collaboration
  • Anticipate needs, flag risks proactively, and provide administrative support to the Head of Operations
  • Support regional operations teams on key functions - hiring, finance, compliance, travel, meetings, venue bookings, billing, event management, and ensuring documentation
  • Maintain organized records of MOUs, monthly reports, dashboards, catalogs
  • Coordinate across hubs- P&C, Finance, Tech., Impact and Admin teams to enable on-ground operations
  • Passing on information/ documents to internal Hubs through internal collaboration
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 3-5 years running operations, projects, or program management, preferably in a non-profit
  • Sharp project management skills – structured, detail-oriented, resourceful
  • Strong relationship management abilities and liaising experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High comfort with ambiguity, ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong drive to push progress with lean resources
  • Values alignment with organizational culture
