Assistant Retail Store Manager

As the Assistant Store Manager at JUSTDOGS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our pet Retail Store. Your primary responsibilities will encompass various aspects of store management, sales, customer service, and overseeing additional services such as home deliveries and spa appointments. You will work closely with the Store Manager to maintain a positive and inviting atmosphere for both customers and their furry companions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, offering product knowledge, and ensuring an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products for their pets.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and promoting upselling opportunities.

Store Management:

• Assist in the overall management of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock is available on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement merchandising strategies and maintain an organized and visually appealing store layout.

Home Deliveries:

• Coordinate and oversee home delivery services for customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, product availability, and any other relevant information.

Spa Appointments:

• Manage spa services offered in the store, including scheduling appointments and coordinating with grooming staff.
• Ensure a high standard of care and grooming services for pets, maintaining a clean and safe spa environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the pet industry.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge and passion for pet care products and services.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
