Work Experience- 3-5 years of experience in purchasing / procurement department in a similar field.
Qualifications-Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineer only.

Job description-
This would be a role that is responsible for the following:
- Look for potential suppliers and vendors for the given category of items we need.
- Arranging enough quotes for the materials needed and preparing a rate comparison.
- Negotiate pricing with the supplier and closing contracts with them based on the agreed rates and terms and conditions.
- Ensure all purchase orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner by the suppliers.
- Following up with the suppliers for the timely delivery and quality of the materials supplied by them.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that arise.
- Ensuring the new suppliers are of repute and dependable by doing a thorough review and background check.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Candidate requirements:
- Mechanical / Production / Automobile Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in purchasing / procurement department in a similar size organization.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision, self-driven and self-starter.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced environment and should be ready to make the difference and accept changes.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
