About Us
The Apeejay Stya University is a seat of global learning that offers rich opportunities for innovative teaching-learning, creativity and research across disciplines. Established by the Apeejay Stya Education Foundation in the state of Haryana [under Act No. 10 of the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act 2010], the ASU provides students not only 'education for living and livelihood' but also 'education for life' and empower learners with a fundamental foundation in leadership and professional skills to face the challenges of the new liberalized global economy.
Situated amidst a sprawling, picturesque campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure on the Sohna-Palwal Road in Gurgaon district of Haryana, the ASU offers a wide range of innovative graduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across a plethora of disciplines that are based on the best education practices of some of the leading universities of the world. These are greatly facilitated by the strong industry-academia linkages, already established by the existing Apeejay institutions of higher learning in all disciplines being offered by the University.
Job Responsibilities :
1. Teaching and covering the curriculum as designed and outlined by the university by adhering to the rules and regulations
2. Creating, developing and implementing innovative teaching pedagogy for better and easy understanding to take industry related problems as practical teaching.
3. Monitoring and observing the students attendance, progress and assessments
4. Preparing various kinds of reports by evaluating and grading the students based on their assessment
5. Keeping in touch with current trends by reading the latest articles published in different magazines or other relevant literature and update his academic delivery accordingly and continuous upgradation by attending FDPs.
6. Plan and organize for the availability of different study materials and laboratory experiments.
7. To assist the students in the recruitment and also advise them regarding their career decisions
8. Should also continue with the research work in the field. He / She should be well acquainted with and publish it.
9. Responsible for timely preparation and submission of the required budget plans
10. Responsible for Academic & administrative duties as per the task assigned by the Dean and organize events of SPS
11. To timely supervise and monitor on-going laboratory sessions / internships and the research work
12. Responsible for implementing the updated guidelines time to time in order to raise the standards of the curriculum.
13. Should be technically savvy and Moodle friendly
Education : M.Pharm (Pharma Chemistry) with minimum 60% of Marks and Ph.D.
Exp: 3 to 5 years including academic, research and in Teaching
