Job Description: Housekeeping Faculty
Lexicon Institute of Hotel Management (Lexicon IHM) is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our faculty as a Housekeeping Faculty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and training of future professionals in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver housekeeping courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and academic requirements.
- Utilize effective teaching methodologies to engage students and facilitate their understanding of housekeeping principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Prepare course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, and assessment tools, to support student learning objectives.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training sessions in housekeeping techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
- Provide individualized instruction and academic support to students, including mentoring, advising, and tutoring as needed.
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects, exams, and other evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Stay informed about current trends, innovations, and advancements in the field of housekeeping, integrating relevant updates into the curriculum and teaching materials.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and departmental staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students and contribute to the success of the institution.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and other institutional initiatives to support continuous improvement and academic excellence.
- Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publications, presentations, or participation in professional organizations, to contribute to the advancement of knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in housekeeping.
- Practical experience in housekeeping operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in housekeeping principles, techniques, and industry standards.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive instructional materials and activities.
- Commitment to student success and academic excellence, with a student-centered approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
