Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Merchandiser (Garments). The Assistant Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to merchandising, such as managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring timely delivery, and monitoring quality control. The Assistant Merchandiser will also support the sales and marketing team by providing necessary product information and assisting in. retail-related activities.
Responsibilities:
Support the Senior Merchandiser in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely production and delivery of garments.
Monitor production schedules and address any issues or delays proactively.
Assist in product development, including sourcing materials and trims.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality control.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to merchandise orders and shipments.
Handle administrative tasks as needed to support the merchandising team.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in sales, retail, or a related field
Understanding of marketing principles
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Knowledge of the garment manufacturing process is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field,
