Area Manager Engineering & Design

1. Design and Detail Engineering for concrete structures required for various applications in different segments.

2. Scope finalization in consultation with Business development team & other stakeholders

3. Co-ordination with Business Development Team, Project Managers, Consultants, Architects and the Service Centres for designing the solutions.

4. Engagement with stake holders from the Project conceptualization stage with help of the Business development team.

5. Implementation and adaptation of international & Indian Standards and industrial best practices

6. Interface Engineering and Management

7. Review engineering drawings. Checking for completeness & correctness of deliverables.

8. In-house Basic Engineering – for the requirement of the E&P and NestIn driven projects.

9. Quantity Estimation for various requirements of the projects across all locations and accordingly making the BOQs.

10. Focus and generating Value for the customers through design and detail engineering.

11. Preparation of Technical Specifications, tender analysis and preparation of Technical evaluation reports.

12. Interdisciplinary co-ordination

13. Work as per the Health & Safety Policy of the company.

14. Proficiency in CuBe+, AutoCAD, MS office. Experience in 3D modelling softwares like Tekla, Revit and model review in Navisworks and clash checking is preferable.

15. Work on methods for Design level optimization using Design software and 3D tools like BIM.

16. Work on methods for Detailing level optimization using Detailing software and 3D tools like BIM.

18. Capability development of team for D&E activities.

19. Part of team for creating or evolving procedures for executing the Engineering & Design activities converging towards stake holders’ expectations/requirements.

20. Scope finalisation, Engineering schedules, risks identification & mitigation measures and corrective actions wherever required during execution.

Engineering change management with justifications.

knowledge on Design & RCC Detailing, Business Development, Sales, Construction, Project management, Safety and Quality standards.

Construction, Commercial acumen, Project Management, Knowledge of sales processes, Analytical Skill, Professional Software Skills like CuBe+, STAAD PRO, TEKLA, AutoCAD, REVIT, BBS softwares & MS Office

Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (B.Tech /M.Tech) with experience in Civil design, detailing and BBS making and MBA/PGPCM from NICMAR is preferable.
