Scope of Responsibility:

Responsible for Facility Electrical installation, Projects & MCC, PCC, HT, LT, DG Sets & Utility Operations support, Instrumentation Hardware, PLCs, HMIs & Calibration Management, BMS, Access Management, Fire Alarm, CCTV system

Core Responsibilities:

• Ensure Safe & Reliable operation of Electrical generation & distribution & related systems as per the design to deliver desired quality output.

• Ensure Lighting, earthing, BMS, CCTV, Fire alarm, UPSs, MCCs, PCCs are maintained and providing reliable services.

• SME for site Project, Design, Operation, Maintenance, Training, Upgrade Plan, CEB estimations & proactive life cycle management for systems like electrical, Power distribution, Calibration, BMS,CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access System

• Drive Energy Automation Treasure Hunt, develop an Action Plan and CEB Budgets

• Provide training to operators, team leaders & Area leaders on operation, troubleshooting of Electrical & Basic of Automation

• Assist Operations in implementing corrective & preventive actions for addressing non-conformances, customer & consumer quality issues

• Work around Automation, PLC Control system, Digitization,analytics initiatives for Site

• Applies Operational Excellence standards (EOHS, Quality & FP&R) to continuously improve manufacturing performance, flexibility & reliability & PM-AM & other programs in assigned areas & Teams.

• Ensures that equipment and processes are capable of meeting production schedules, customer demands, and Operational Excellence requirements

• Anticipates issues, analyzes data and develops contingency plans and strategies to minimize potential manufacturing disruption

• Identify potential electrical hazards and develop solutions to mitigate the risk.

• Develop and lead the initiatives to reduce energy consumption CP systems

• Track technology changes and their impact on plan systems, recommend and implement technology up gradation as per need.

• Maintain database of plant critical control systems and develop systems for effective risk mitigation practices.

• Manage jobs been performed by electrical contractors for the facility ensuring compliance to EOHS and statutory.

• Work as a Backup of & in close coordination With TL-Instrumentation or TL-Plant floor system and managing resources & Instrumentation associates.

• Work as a backup of & In close coordination with TL-Utility /AL-Utility for Utility Operation and sharing resources of Electrician & Utility Technicians

• Responsible for Development and Training of Utility & Electrical + Instrumentation technicians

• Managing project & In house Instrumentation & Electrical contractors

Education:

BE Electrical Engineering or Engineering Degree (Electrical preferred)

Experience:

Should have at least 5-7 years prior Engineering/Maintenance experience on Instrumentation, electrical systems
