Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, has an exciting opportunity for an Applications Developer to join the Wolfram Technology Group department. The successful candidate will work with the Wolfram Technology Group team to develop applications and solutions for Wolfram clients using Wolfram technologies.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement innovative applications and solutions for Wolfram clients using the Wolfram technology stack
- Researching required information using available resources
- Training Wolfram clients to complete their projects using Wolfram technologies
- Conducting data manipulation and transformation tasks to prepare raw data for analysis and modeling purposes
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data science, AI and machine learning to contribute valuable insights to project discussions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or science
- Strong programming skills with proven experience in languages such as Wolfram Language, Python, R or Java
- Solid computational background in specific branch of engineering, science or mathematics
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred qualifications
- Master's or doctorate degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts is a significant advantage
Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India
Job type: Full time (40 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
Salary: Dependent on location and the candidate's background and experience
Reporting to: Director of Wolfram Technical Consulting
