Detailed description: APAC PMO Lead Short Description A dedicated Program Management Office (PMO) leader for APAC region who will work with Americas and Europe PMO Regional Leads for global program governance consistency, and the PMO leaders of individual APAC countries in supporting our customer focused Product Delivery (PD) Teams. Detailed Description Responsibilities of PMO Regional Lead includes, but not limited to following: - Support PMO Steering Committee (global initiative) as regional representative by providing ideas and proposals for process improvement and tool enhancement for global Visteon.
- Support functional leaders of central and global organizations as regional representative by providing regional data.
- Manage and support PMO leaders of individual APAC countries including ones from joint ventures.
- Support PD professionals and leaders by driving and maintaining a best-in-class standard across all projects. This support includes:
- Generate PD KPI performance report on the monthly basis.
- Facilitate key review meetings.
- Identify and communicate potential project health concerns.
- Monitor projects for escalation, launch performance and financial approval compliance.
- Provide pragmatic advice to teams on subjects such as lifecycle planning, risk management, change management, communication and reporting in line with VBOS, VPDS and Vistway processes (Visteon internal processes).
- Provide training support to the PD community as well as to the wider Visteon functional teams.
- Lead the ongoing continuous improvement activities for the tools, processes and procedures that are used, and followed by the PD Teams.
- Monitor and lead VAVE effort throughout the region, and get a report out on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
Education - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering
- Good knowledge about PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Prerequisite Professional Background - 5 year or longer working experience as automotive component supplier
- Comprehensive knowledge about APQP/PPAP and IATF16949 requirements
- 5 year or longer project management experience as Project Manager
- Experience in management position(s) of a 5 people or larger group
- Working experience in multinational company(-es)
