In our 'always on' world, we believe it's essential to have a genuine connection with the work you do.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
- Specialize in component cost modelling, focusing on delivering actionable insights for cost optimization in the design and production of Wireless Telecom Infrastructure Products - Active and Passive.
- Develop comprehensive cost models for each component category (Aluminum reflectors, PCBs, cables, electronics, radome). Analyze, Estimate and Present costs based on design specifications, historical data, and raw material prices. Implement a design-for-cost model, ensuring cost considerations are integral from the outset of the design process.
- Aggregate historical and current data on costs and usage to provide predictive analytics to guide cost-effective design and procurement decisions.
- Apply statistical methods to analyze cost variations and trends for each component, identify cost drivers, and predict future costs.
- Incorporate market data (e.g., raw material price changes, and supplier pricing trends) into the cost models to understand external influences.
- Build reports and dashboards that present cost model insights, enabling informed decision-making for design and procurement.
- Build customized dashboards that provide real-time insights into component costs, highlighting areas where costs exceed benchmarks or expectations.
- Implement a system that sends predictive alerts when component costs are likely to exceed predefined thresholds, enabling proactive measures.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in data analysis, statistical modelling, and cost analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to handle complex data sets.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent) and statistical software (e.g., Python, R).
- Knowledge in predictive analytics and machine learning to create accurate forecasting models, and experience with notification or alert systems.
- Proficiency in database management, SQL, and data extraction techniques. Familiarity with ERP systems for data sourcing.
- Knowledge of CAD tools and design software integration is a plus.
- Basic understanding of the manufacturing processes of mechanical components and cost structures is added advantage.
