Corporate and Intellectual Property Advocate:-
- Provide legal counsel and representation to corporate clients on a wide range of corporate and IP matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various corporate agreements, including licensing agreements, joint venture agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
- Conduct due diligence on IP matters in corporate transactions, including mergers,acquisitions, and investments.
- Advise clients on the protection, enforcement, and management of Intellectual Property rights.
- Assist in the development and implementation of IP strategies to safeguard the company & Intellectual assets and mitigate risks.
- Handle IP litigation matters, including infringement disputes, oppositions, and enforcement actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, and business development, to ensure IP compliance and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex legal issues related to corporate and IP law.
- Represent clients before regulatory bodies, administrative agencies, and judicial forums.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution; Master's degree in Intellectual Property Law or related field preferred.
- Admission to the Bar and licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on corporate and Intellectual Property Law.
- Proven track record of handling corporate transactions and IP matters, including drafting agreements and managing IP portfolios.
- Extensive knowledge of Intellectual Property Laws and regulations, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients.
