Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Admissions Manager at Himalayan Institute of Technology in Dehradun. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the admissions team and developing and implementing strategies to achieve enrollment targets. Key responsibilities include overseeing the entire admissions process from prospecting to early enrolment, monitoring enrollment and admissions metrics, developing procedures to enhance the admissions process, coordinating with academic departments and Student Services, and collaborating with faculty members to convey and understand all academic processes and features. The Admissions Manager is also expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in academic administration, admissions, or sales with experience leading and managing a team
  • Familiarity with academic and student service departments
  • Demonstrated ability to meet goals, handle multiple tasks, set priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude, patient demeanor, and empathy in working with students and staff
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and software is a plus
  • Preferably 5+ years of experience in admissions or academic administration

The daily responsibilities for the job will include

  • End to End admission process
  • Informing the enquiries about the courses and the organizations
  • Follow- ups of the enquiry
  • Liaising with the schools and admission partners
  • Managing a Team of upto 10 Counselors and Telecallers
