Fantastiic Global is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. The ideal candidate is highly accurate and efficient with strong mathematical skills. You should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain financial records and general ledgers
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Prepare and process payroll
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide support for audits
- Perform ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent organizational skills
- Associate degree in accounting or relevant field
- Professional certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) is a plus
