Together we will take human and machine intelligence to a next level of human-machine collaboration based on learning algorithms & real-world challenges with large industrial machinery.As a Measurement and Controls specialist you will be working with CSG (Customer solutioning group) & be responsible for the following tasks and topics:


· To develop, maintain and support the activities with measurements and control team, consisting of evaluation and selection of hardware components like sensors, transmitters, actuators and data acquisition system to complement existing infrastructure based on respective client’s location environmental conditions to address the technical scope.


· Ability to build and implement architecture to gather sensor data from various sources in OT layer based on various automation maturity in the client location.


· You will be responsible for identification of installed physical sensors and available telemetry data and gather inputs that are required for the development of virtual sensors.


· You will be responsible for reviewing client provided documents from a perspective of assets operation range, hardware infrastructure and data collection mechanisms. This would include:


· Operating manuals, Asset Integrity management reports, Operation & Maintenance reports, Shutdown reports, etc.


· Review the design & operating loads and load combinations.


· Analyze maintenance & inspection reports to understand As Is condition of the equipment and the existing infrastructure and study on historical data, identify the critical operating parameters based on fault events of the equipment.


· Gather boundary conditions and applicable loads for thermal analysis and transient structural analysis.


· You will be conducting site survey (if customer has not provided adequate details) to gather necessary details and come up with solutions to bridge any gap found through submission of technical queries followed by meeting with customer (insitu &/or Teams)


· Gather information that are required to develop numerical simulation models to replicate the faults observed in the historical data, fault feedback from maintenance engineers, operating condition scenarios to develop the intelligent database based on the recorded faulty events and root cause for the same.


· Coordination with right stakeholders to validate the sensor data connected to equipment (Instruments for recording Pressure, Temperature, flow, corrosion, erosion, vibration, etc.),


· Study of permissible integration methods suitable for the asset of focus in connection with the sensor data with analysis model as per analysis requirements or comparison of the analysis results.


· Study of the residual fatigue based on the current operating life of equipment since the installation and how to calculate it if the complete operational history is not available and performing the electrical/structural/fatigue analysis and analyzing the remaining life of the equipment.


· Recommend to SES(Solution Ecosystem) /Engg team on calibration methods suiting analysis model as per sensor data to convert As-built analysis model to As-is model.


Qualifications

•Education: You have successfully completed bachelor’s/master’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Industrial Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Electromechanical fields.•Experience: You have at least 10 years of professional experience in various roles related to Industry 4.0, Industrial asset reliability, signal processing & sensorization, industrial processes & automation, maintenance of plant machinery and managing high performance teams. Must have hands-on working experience on sensors – vibration sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, encoder, torque sensors, motor control relay etc… Must have good understanding of power control center, motor control center, DCS, SCADA & historians in an industrial environment.•Know-how: You have a concrete understanding of Industrial IoT construct with Hands-on exposure to software packages like PLC, OPC-UA, OSISoft, PI Historian, Asset optimization packages, LabVIEW or Matlab and other Digital Asset Performance packages. Practical knowledge on working with analog signals, DAQ, enterprise asset management packages & engineering drawings is highly desired.•Enthusiasm: You have a pioneering spirit and enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team with a high degree of personal responsibility and creative freedom.•Personality: You have a high sense of responsibility, are reliable and a team player.
