To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• B.E. in Mechanical Engineering / MS in engineering preferred / Equivalent Degree
• 10-16 or more years of experience in Design of Packaging for Medical Devices / Home Appliances / Personal Health
• Experience with NX CAD software, ARTIOS, CAPE & Windchill
• DfSS Greenbelt Certified.
• Basic understanding of design for pulp trays & pulp making processes, along with printing techniques and understanding of transport & logistics
• Understanding of material interaction between product & packaging
• Basic knowledge of paper types and their qualities
• Basic design process principles:
  • Decision matrix
  • Morphologic overview
  • Visual design review
  • Creative tools for concept creation
• Basic sketching skills
• Windchill PLM software.
• Proven design engineering and project management experience leading cross-functional teams
• Experience supporting global projects
• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and working in a regulated industry
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power Point, and Word required
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills required

Note: This position is based out of Pune and expectation is to be working from office
