Job description

Roles & responsibilities

  • Work closely with QMCI leadership and Industry leads and heads at GDC to introduce audit quality related initiatives, bring efficiency and ensure highest quality in service delivery from GDC.
  • Evaluate outcomes of the Independent Quality reviews, perform root cause analysis of quality issues including escalations, and analyze trends to determine and implement learning interventions to enhance the overall audit quality.
  • Inculcate a culture of "Quality First" in all audit related interactions and ensure maintaining high quality standards across all the deliverables and assignments within the portfolio. Work with stakeholders to monitor and manage key Industry and BU specific Performance Quality metrics.
  • Stay abreast of firm published Professional Practice Letters and help dissipate information relevant to GDC.
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently through planning, prioritizing and reviewing the projects with 100% quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Demonstrate strong people management and influencing skills, lead by example, build and nurture a high performing team, coach and empower team members to stretch their capabilities.
  • Active participation in campus and lateral hiring drives at GDC.
  • Lead the innovation and automation efforts with overall objective of enhancing the audit quality and streamlining the existing processes with impact on audit delivery.

Business development by engaging in planning and execution of new service offerings.

This role is for you if you have the below

Educational/Professional qualifications

  • CA - ICAI, US CPA

Work experience

  • The candidate must have 8 to 10 years' experience in statutory audits, US GAAP, IFRS, iGAAP.

Mandatory technical & leadership skills

  • Experience in statutory audit (preferably in BIG 4) with excellent knowledge in US GAAP, expertise in risk assessment, internal controls and knowledge of AICPA and PCAOB standards.
  • Strong understanding of different Industry sectors and business processes.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and project management skills.
  • Strong leadership traits to guide and motivate teams, fostering collaboration within and outside QMCI, building talent pipeline and creating a unique talent experience.

Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and deliver superior results, translating broader strategy into a compelling team vision, aligns the team and sets priorities to achieve objectives.
