Address- He / She will work with the product team Customer Support team to determine product testing test parameters.
- Capable of writing test plans and creating test cases for the product to validate the product completely for successful product launch.
- Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the new testing procedures.
- Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Training the quality assurance staff and providing technical support when needed.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Hands-on experience in Construction, Earthmoving, Material Handling, Mining equipment testing and trouble shooting.
- Should have handled full equipment/machine testing/ data loggers / associated testing instruments gauges.
- Comprehensive experience with hydraulic systems and trouble shooting.
- Sound knowledge in NVH testing.
- Good knowledge in various types of sensors measurement devices used for pressure, temperature flow mapping.
- Data acquisition, data analysing report preparation.
- Hands-on experience in Homologation legislations.
- Should be able to make detailed validation plan for in-house testing capability to resolve field issues.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute
- 8 to 12 year experience in Cranes/Material Handling/ Construction Equipment/ Heavy equipment industry. Must have at least 5 year experience in testing of cranes (PNC, RT)
Key Capabilities:
- Thorough knowledge on Pick Carry Crane/ mobile cranes and testing of construction equipment
- Must be aware of various testing standards used in Cranes Construction equipment industries
- Ability to read complex blueprints
- Must be familiar with Steel specifications and relevant IS/ISO standards, mechanical characteristics, cost and selection.
- Knowledge of CEV BS III, BS IV, BS V engine, emission norms and driveline installation on chassis
- Hands on experience in vehicle design and integration
- Knowledge on Mobile crane IS/ISO standards and India and EC homologation standards
- Knowhow for sheet metal, fabrication, manufacturing, inspection and testing of mechanical components
- Knowhow of telescopic boom design and extension and retraction mechanism design
- Proficient in 2D detail drafting using GDT
- Design Concepts, Design Calculations and Optimization
- Proficient in Creo Software, PLM
- Proto and Production Support
- Knowledge of Welding and relevant standards
- Knowledge of NPD, DFMEA, DFM, DFA processes
- Knowledge and experience in analyzing structures using Excel VBA will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- NPD Gate processes and documentation knowledge
- MS office and Email Etiquettes
