Job Summary
Provide timely and reliable technical services to customers
General Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment
- Conduct training on operation, setup and maintenance of equipment at site
- Provide after sales technical and support activities of equipment
- Conduct product application testing for customers
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Arrange and coordinate technical services assignments to comply with procedures and processes
- Coordinate work assignments and follow-up on resolution of critical technical and procedural problems
- Order/record service parts and tidiness of service vehicles and take corrective actions
- Record periodical usage, consumption and availability of service spares inventory to support the service business
- Gather information/data to submit accurate records of preventative maintenance, installations, repairs, time, services, expenses, etc.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and customers
- Respond to customer queries and resolve basic issues in collaboration with the relevant departments
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate working knowledge in automation equipment
- Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in trouble-shooting of technology and automation equipment
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Education
- Certificate/diploma in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanic) or related field
- Minimum 5 years experiences in SMT Machine or Automation Machine (preferred)
- Experience in trouble-shooting electrical control.
