AddressWe are looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join our Managed Services team to further build and deliver our first-in-class e-invoicing solutions for our customers. As part of this team, the consultant provides strong technical consulting skills and solution guidance for our e-invoicing solutions. In addition, the selected individual plays an important role in securing Basware’s and our customers’ success and works in close collaboration with the Support Delivery Manager, our Product Management organization, R&D, Production and Support.
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you are responsible for:
- Managing and implementing Change requests for two of our biggest Network customers, in accordance with the delivery life-cycle and quality guidelines.
- Implementing, testing and deploying document exchange flows on a Java based platform via different types of custom and standardized mappings for widely used file formats/standard (EDI, XML, UBL, IDOC)
- Acting as the Network Delivery subject matter expert during the delivery phase and work in close collaboration with Project architect and Project teams.
- Learning, mastering and understanding the Basware services and platforms from a technical point of view.
- Driving technical project follow-up of your project portfolio for both customer and any internal stakeholders during all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
- Obtaining and ensuring customer engagement via effective communication and a proactive delivery approach.
- Work in close collaboration with Managed Services Support team and cooperate with internal stakeholders such as other delivery units, R&D, Product Management, etc. to assure timely and correct project deliveries.
- Advising customers on how to use our solutions most effectively and delivering customer training.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects for the customer and process improvements.
- Addressing technical queries, both during and occasionally after project go-live.

Skills & Requirements
- IT / Computer Science bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project delivery in a B2B environment.
- Knowledge of software development and delivery experience with the implementation of software products.
- Ability to take on both a technical consulting and project coordinating role.
- Strong analytical and consulting skills.
- Experience with EDI and XML, knowledge of ERP systems and regex scripting and connection protocols such as SFTP OFTP and AS2 is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Highly collaborative approach and skilled in working in a matrix environment.
- Quick learner with the correct hands-on attitude and a self-driven challenger, looking for continuous development and adding value to our processes.
