Data Management and Governance Consultant

:

The Senior Consultant for Data Management and Data Governance at EY is responsible for providing strategic and technical expertise in data management and governance to clients. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their data management needs, designing and implementing Data Governance frameworks and tools, developing data management strategies and ensuring data quality and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their data management and governance needs and translate them into technical solutions and project objectives.
• Develop Data Governance frameworks and strategies that align with the client's business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct data assessments and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in Data Governance, data quality and compliance.
• Design and implement data management processes, including data collection, integration, cleansing and storage.
• Develop and implement Data Governance and Management policies, standards, and procedures as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define data architecture and data flows that support efficient data management.
• Provide guidance and support in implementing Data Governance and management tools such as Data Catalog, Data Quality and Master data management (MDM) technologies.
• Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations and proposal development
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.

Must have skills:

• At least 5 years of experience in data management and Data Governance roles, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks (eg: DAMA, NDMO) data quality principles, and regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Experience with data management technologies and tools, such as data integration platforms, Data Quality tools, MDM tools, and data cataloging tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients and team members.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients.
• Willingness to travel to client sites if needed.

Good To have:

• Implementation experience in Informatica solutions such as AXON, EDC, DQ and MDM
• Implementation experience in Collibra Data Governance and catalog
• Certification in Data Governance and Data Management recognized in the industry
