Job Description
Reporting to the Technical Director and managing a team of 15, your primary responsibilities will be:
- Implementing the research and development activities, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) system as per the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Policies, and IMS objectives.
- Ensuring development program is planned, designed executed, implemented maintained in accordance with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 & OHSAS 18001: 2007.
- Responsible for new product development activities in the areas of surfactants and speciality chemicals, as per the market/marketing needs and a proactive suggestion on new products from R&D end.
- Developing and nurturing talent within a team, identifying high-potential individuals, and creating leadership pipelines.
- Identifying and providing resources for analysis and evaluation.
- Assisting production department in piloting and further scale up activity & maintaining a master list of documents with current revision status and issue of controlled documents.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally you should have completed Ph.D./Doctorate in Chemistry with 15-20 years of experience in Surfactants & Speciality Chemicals industry. You should have extensive hands-on experience of the industry's best practices and experience in team management.
