Job Description
Position Title : Buyer - Procurement
Reporting Title : Head – SCM
Position Location: : HQ, Chennai
- End to End responsibility for handing the Electrical packages for EPC Projects
- RFQ to potential vendors based
- Offer evaluation along with technical team.
- Vendor Assessment
- Clean sheet costing
- Negotiating Price, Terms and Contractual Conditions
- Finalization of contract within ACE and providing potential savings
- LOI / Purchase order preparation
- Post order document submission to internal client
- Obtaining technical clearance for manufacturing
- Expediting for timely deliveries
- Coordination for QC (internal / client) inspection and supplying to site
- To handle consumable items for southern & central region projects
- Supporting Service order finalization for TPI
- Developing alternate potential vendors for consumables and Electrical items
- Site and Vendor coordination for erection and commissioning
- Hand over to client.
- Attending service requests if any arises after commissioning.
- Reconciliation of Vendor payment
