Job Description:
Assessing and diagnosing the extent of client hearing loss using a wide range of techniques, including audiometric tests
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating hearing loss and balance disorders
Reporting results of assessments and tests in writing, and Follow up with clients.
Recommending hearing care solutions to those with hearing impairment
Providing counselling, advice and information to clients and families as a part of overall treatment
Providing treatment and management of hearing and communication disorders that may be age-related, part of a disability, or acquired as a result of injury or disease
Hearing aid trial and fitting of hearing aids
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Experience with hearing aid fitting and dispensing
