• Education: bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or information technology field; an advanced degree and related accreditations a plus.
• 10-15 years of IT experience in a highly qualified function such as technical leader, in the area of Data and Analytics with strong exposure to Platform Architecture and Engineering.
• 5+ years demonstrable skills & experience in Analytics and Visualization with focus on platform engineering in a qualified technical function and global matrix organization.
• Experience in Power BI, Web/Mobile App Mashup, Knowledge of other visualization technologies is a plus. Solid experience on AWS Cloud Services, AWS Certified Solution Architecture certification is preferred.
• Track record of broad industry experience and solid understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships as well as driving business transformations
• Pharma domain specialization is a plus and understanding of data usage across the end-to-end enterprise value chain. Demonstrated good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and time management aligned with Novartis Values & Behaviors; deep technical expertise and understanding of the business processes and systems.
• Experience in managing vendor and customer expectations and driving techno-functional discussion; understanding of the demand to sustain and project financial processes.
• A bility to communicate across various customers, including internal and external, and align with all levels of IT and business partners. Excellent negotiation skills, experience with agile and DevOps methodology, capability to think strategically.
