AddressResponsibilities:
1. Perform welding tasks according to specifications and industry standards.
2. Interpret and understand blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
3. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
4. Weld components in various positions, such as flat, horizontal, and vertical.
5. Inspect and assess welded surfaces for quality and conformance to specifications.
6. Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
8. Identify and troubleshoot issues related to welding equipment and processes.
9. Ensure the proper handling and storage of welding materials.
10. Assist in training and mentoring junior welders, as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
2. Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
4. Familiarity with welding materials and their specifications.
5. Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
6. Good physical condition and stamina for prolonged periods of welding.
7. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment.
8. Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a tube mill machine operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of steel structures and tube mill machinery operations.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Work Environment:
The Steel Structures Welder works in a manufacturing facility where exposure to loud noise, dust, and heavy machinery is common. Proper safety equipment and procedures are required to ensure a safe work environment.
